Meet The Owners

Hey! I’m Chasity. My Husband, Justin and I along with our 2 boys are the owners of The Venue at Stockton Lake. We made the move to Stockton in 2021. After a lot of praying and long discussions about where we saw our little family living our best lives, we all agreed a quiet town by the lake was a perfect fit for us.

After living here, a little over a year my husband’s parents offered us the amazing opportunity to purchase The Venue. We were so excited to buy this beautiful building and help so many amazing couples find the perfect venue to host their dream wedding!

I run the day-to-day operations, Justin does most of the maintenance, and the boys help out with pretty much anything we ask. Although I am the face you will see the most at the venue, you will often see the boys working hard in the background. It takes all of us to run this business and make the venue perfect for your big day!

My in-laws broke ground and began construction for the venue!

My family made the move to Stockton, MO! After much discussion my husband and I decided to purchased the venue from his parents. Pictured with us, are our 2 sons, who you will possibly meet at some point at The Venue!

Love Notes

I was very fortunate to discover this gorgeous venue through The Knot app and I am so glad I did. It was the perfect setting for my wedding. Tami and Chasity were very helpful and professional. Everyone that attended the wedding could not stop talking about how beautiful our venue was. I highly recommend this venue for weddings, birthday parties and cooperate events!

I can't put everything into words... If I wasn't told that there were new owners taking over I would've never known. The previous owner and the new owner made the transition so smooth and stress free. The new owner, Chasity, was SO kind and helpful. I couldn't imagine a better person to take over for Tami. The Venue is well kept and just an all around gorgeous atmosphere. There are photo opportunities everywhere to make that perfect photo you would want to blow up on a canvas and hang in your living room for decades. There are so many good things to say about the location and the wonderful people behind it.

I LOVED photographing this wedding at The Venue at Stockton Lake! There are so many portrait locations allowing for a variety of images for my couple. It was raining off-and-on that day, and we were able to find so many portrait locations indoors during those downpours. The space is clean, the bridal suites are both clean and spacious with beautiful lighting, the environment a perfect canvas to personalize a couple's wedding experience, and I am fully excited to have another wedding there in the future.

We loved The Venue at Stockton Lake! Even with a change of ownership the team was very supportive. They were amendable to letting us have our dream (though it was a little unorthodox.) I’m a wedding planner myself so I see and work with a lot of venues, and The Venue at Stockton Lake has the perfect blend of rustic and classy. You can really do any theme and have it be beautiful — especially with the backdrop of Stockton Lake framing you!

Chasity and her husband recently took over during our process of planning out our special day. They were super kind and helpful to us directly before, during, and after our special day. We couldn't have asked for better hosts during the stressful times of planning and preparing for our wedding! Highly recommend The Venue at Stockton Lake
